Yet another "Ekanu attempts to adapt to Estara, with Denifar's somewhat dubious help" snippet, written just because. This is quite early, so she's still very awkward with the language.

The sushi dinner fell through; Cat had a migraine. So Susan and I hung out and watched videos instead. We did a toss-up between Finding Nemo and The Empire Strikes Back, and ended up with the space opera. I do love that movie.

Made dinner for Pat. Am pleased to learn that I can still cook chicken and carrots, but not so pleased that I apparently still cannot tell the difference between a sweet potato and a regular potato unless I cut them open and notice that one is yellow-orange while the other is, well, not.

Cooking = not my strong point.

Also, I got "First You Have to Get There" printed at the county library, and have plans to attack it with the Editing Pen of Death later this evening, once Dad kicks me off the computer. (This is the bad part about spending the summer with my parents. I'm an adult, but they still order me around like a teenager... and since it IS their house, it would be really ungrateful to protest TOO much. Also, they still pay my tuition and/or rent, whichever lets them deduct more come tax day. *sigh* After this coming year, though, I think I may be able to cut loose for good!)
