Am in Ithaca. Have no internet access yet, so am pretending I'm still a student and posting from a campus computer lab. Bad Liz, no biscuit!

Got up here yesterday w/ parents in tow, rearranged room, unpacked like a mad thing, and crashed when the moving/trip adrenaline finally cut out. Today I unpacked all my kitchen stuff and went shopping for some basic necessities, like a wall mirror and a cutting board. And feminine hygiene products, which I (silly me) forgot to pack. I wish to god the bus stop were a little closer to my house; my arms are still killing me from carrying all those bags. And I still have more stuff I'm looking for!

I also forgot my curtain rods and Dad's spare drill, so while I have my curtains, I cannot put them up. Since there are gaps between the window and my cruddy blinds (they hang a couple inches in front of the glass, so the light comes diagonally around the edges) it would be very nice to have curtains!

Also, the sink and toilet in one of the house bathrooms are clogged. Nobody knows why. We are complaining to management and hope to get it fixed tomorrow.

Out of sheer boredom, wrote a whole mini-story yesterday. Not fanfiction, totally original, but I kind of like it. And I'd post it, too, except I forgot to bring the disk with me. *sigh*

Have several job leads, which I will pursue tomorrow.

Getting a life is so time-consuming!
