Am STILL sick. This is getting ridiculous.

This evening is the RE potluck dinner down at First Unitarian, to which I am bringing garlic noodles. Yay garlic noodles! Yay dinner that I don't have to cook myself, or pay for!

Also, I fixed up previous chapters of "Secrets," so as to replace the old versions on FA when I get chapter 7 up. You know, things like switching Ginny's name from Virginia to Ginevra, correcting typos, and generally making the set-up flow more smoothly into later chapters. Oh, and sticking a visit to Hagrid into chapter 3, because I noticed that canonically Ginny did visit him -- he mentions it to Harry -- but I'd neglected to have her even meet him properly. *sigh* This also lets her notice, and tell Tom, that Hagrid keeps chickens. Ooh, plot point!

And I've been writing chapter 3 of "More or Less the Same," my look-self-inserts-can-be-done-well experiment with vampire society during season 4 of BtVS. That may be up here in a few days; chapters 1 and 2 can be found in my Memories.

Am experiencing mad irritation at the length of my current projects. I keep writing and writing, but nothing's ready to post. I'm not getting that lovely kick from finishing anything. *sigh* Ah well, I shall persevere.
