Here's another
thirtyforthree Ginny/Harry/Draco ficlet, though this one isn't really a threesome in the technical sense. It does deal with emotional relationships among the three characters, but I think this one can actually slip right into HBP canon. I'm rather proud of that. :-)
It's also a double drabble: 200 words exactly. I like the double drabble as an artform. It's a little easier than a classic drabble -- 200 words give a scene or impression more room to breathe -- but it's still tight enough that you have to choose exactly the right words and you can't stumble.

*looks at the title of the above ficlet* Y'know, one of these days I will make peace with the way Christian imagery plays such a large role in my imagination, even though I'm not Christian and find much Christian theology irritating, nonsensical, or both.
...
It's probably the stories. I was raised on Bible stories, the same way I was raised on fairy tales, Greek mythology, Norse mythology, Beatrix Potter, Thornton Burgess, etcetera, and they've sunk deep into the back of my mind.
My parents never priviliged any set of stories over any other set, though, so I grew up thinking God was a character in some really cool stories. Believing in a Judeo-Christian god would be, for me, analagous to seriously believing in the objective reality of the evil queen in Snow White, or of Peter Rabbit (either version). However, this may explain why I don't have any real problems with using the word 'God' in a religious context -- I simply don't have any negative baggage attached to it, unlike a lot of UUs who grew up in some Christian denomination and then left for one reason or another.
