edenfalling: headshot of a raccoon, looking left (raccoon)
A [livejournal.com profile] thirtyforthree Ginny/Harry/Draco ficlet. No warnings.

There is, however, a note. :-)

Significant parts of this ficlet are lifted more-or-less directly from CoS. In other words, it's a scene variation type of AU -- I nudge the characters just a little and watch the changes spiral out. (This is my favorite type of AU to write, incidentally.)

( Ripples in a Pool )

This is not the Valentine's Day theory I'm using in Secrets, but the phrasing of the poem suddenly struck me as a bit odd and I wanted to play with the idea. It seemed appropriate for this theme, in a number of ways. And no, I'm not continuing this. You can imagine the knock-on effects yourself. *grin*
