vaguely irritating dreams
Apr. 19th, 2006 07:35 pmI woke up about an hour before my alarm this morning because sunlight was shining in my window. But it was an hour early, and I was tired, so I went back to sleep.
( I then dreamed that I woke up again... )
ETA: I told my dad about this dream, and his immediate reaction was, "Well, yes, for you to have a sister only one year old, she'd have to be adopted." That hadn't even occurred to me, and yet, considering that both my dad and my aunt are adopted, it really should have. I tend to forget that they're adopted, though, unless I'm specifically thinking about it, because it's never been an issue in the family -- my grandparents were their parents because they chose them, loved them, and raised them. Period. My aunt has gotten in touch with her birth relatives in the past couple years, but she didn't even start looking until she was over 50 years old. And my dad has no interest in his birth relatives whatsoever.

Am reading The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. So far, it's interesting and quite accessible.
