My parents are currently in Zurich with Ardis. Therefore, sometime this week I should call Grandma Doris, since Mom won't be able to. *sigh* Talking to Grandma Doris gets harder every month these days -- she has almost no short-term memory left.

Anyway, the BBQ on Saturday was nice. A few people from the young adult group at church (well, what passes for a young adult group -- we're not actually organized enough to be a real group) are running the service on the 13th, so we needed to make some plans. Our theme is 'sources of meaning and purpose,' and I really need to sit down and actually write up my 4-5 minute part of the sermon this week.

Last night I wrote a bit of "Two Guys and a Girl," but part 4 is nowhere near finished. Chapter 6 of "Lemonade" is coming along, though I think I made a false analogy in Duo's section and need to restructure that. I've also outlined chapter 8 of "Guardian," and I have the rough idea for another [livejournal.com profile] thirtyforthree ficlet, though I haven't committed it to the page. So writing proceeds, albeit slowly.

Other than that, life's pretty uneventful. :-) I like relaxation.
