So! My day. It has not been a good one.

I woke around 3:30am feeling kind of oogy in my stomach and spent the next hour intermittently hanging around the bathroom in case I threw up. Which I finally did, at shortly after 4:30am. ( cut for digusting bodily and plumbing details )

I called in sick to work, of course, and half an hour ago I got a call from AO saying that she'd tried to get RE to switch shifts with me (he would work today and I would work Saturday), but he never answered and never showed up. So poor BW is now alone at the smoke shop, scheduled to leave at 6pm but with nobody to replace him... which means he'll probably be stuck there until 9pm and I will owe him a big favor. *headdesk again*

PM has offered to work for me tomorrow, which I am leaning more and more toward accepting, because I am wrung out like a dishrag -- abused stomach muscles, lack of sleep, and Jesus Christ, they are not kidding about dehydration being the real killer behind cholera; you have no idea how unbalanced and light-headed I was by the time I got some water and a dash of fruit juice to stay down around 9am -- and yet I need to somehow pull myself together enough to go buy like three gallons of Drano plus gingerale and really bland Saltine crackers or something similar. Also Pepto-Bismol, because like hell do I want a repeat of this morning.

I did finally start getting a bit of sleep in half-hour increments around 9am, and then I slept about 3 hours straight from 12:30-3:30pm. I have also managed to eat and thus far keep down some more fruit juice and a few bites of a plain steak roll. \o/ Now I am debating whether I trust my digestive system enough to get into the shower, because my shower drain is a little iffy (like my sink drain), and I don't need another clog to get rid of, you know?

Yuck.

Just yuck.
