3 things: writing progress; fic recs!; the curious incident of the helicopter in the night-time

1. The Hinata prompt!fic is now 3,500 words, and I think I am closing in on the ending. Tentative yay? (Man, this story is like a never-ending journey through the land of social isolation and learned helplessness. So depressing. But there is hope! And also friendship and politics, in keeping with the summer camp AU's theme.)

2. Go to ladylisse's journal and read her Hunger Games crossover mashups! So far she has written one for Homestuck, one for Harry Potter, and one for Hetalia. They are awesome, as her writing always is. :-D

3. Random item of local interest: in the wee hours of Sunday morning, there was a nasty car crash on Route 13, which left two people dead on the scene and two people in critical condition at nearby hospitals. I am pretty sure they were airlifted away from the crash. You know why? Because the helicopter that picked them up woke me from a sound sleep around 4:45am, and then came back at least once, maybe twice (it's hard to pinpoint sound in the dark, particularly when it reflects off the hills) until it finally flew away for good around 5:00am. It was loud enough that it rattled all the windows in my apartment.
