the tale of the cursed dental appointment
Nov. 8th, 2016 09:30 amFunny story (not funny haha, the other funny):
I had a dental checkup scheduled for early October. I'd picked the time and date back in the spring, before I got my current job, and it turned out to clash with my new work hours. So I rescheduled it for a couple weeks later.
Then it turned out I couldn't keep that appointment either, because I had to swap shifts with Miss Cactus in order to attend a Not the IRS class. So I rescheduled a second time, for Thursday 11/10.
Today I just got a text from the dental office saying they were sorry, but they had to cancel my appointment because one of their hygenists had had a death in her family and they were consequently short-staffed.
So I called them and rescheduled the appointment a third time, for Monday 11/14.
Hopefully nothing more will go wrong, but by this point I am not exactly holding my breath...
