Meh. Wanted to work on "Secrets" today, but all I managed was to edit parts 1 and 2 of my Labyrinth trio (part one was previously posted as "Running From Her Shadow," back when I thought it was a one-shot). And I got about 500 words of a "Secrets" sidestory... but that's not what I wanted to write! Wah!

On the bright side, I got a lot of wood split. And I refilled the hummingbird feeders. And Dad and I moved most of our cut and split pieces over to the woodpile at the side of the cabin, finishing just as the recently passed thunderstorm hit. You gotta love the north woods. ;-)

We'll be leaving Tuesday morning and heading down to the Twin Cities to visit Ardis. Then Wednesday afternoon we drive to Denison to see Grandma Doris. We'll be there all Thursday -- must think of something to do besides sit around and "visit" all day -- and then drive home to New Jersey Friday and Saturday. So no internet access after Tuesday evening (or possibly Wednesday morning, depending on what I can wheedle out of Ardis and her sluggish AOL account).

I never realize how much I depend on internet access until I don't have it for a while.
