Jun. 25th, 2018 01:19 pm1. Despite only having 10 weeks to teach a full English course, Prof. C has decided to use this week solely for review and revisions. (Well. And an open-book quiz.) Which means I have a chance to revise my first essay, written before I had a handle on what she was looking for, in order to better conform to her personal standards and thus raise my grade.
I got an okay grade to start with, but you damn BET I am taking advantage of that!
2. Lawyer Man (the overall boss of my company's Ithaca operations) is doing annual employee review meetings this week, and mine is scheduled for 9am tomorrow morning. So I have to politely browbeat someone at the downtown office to drive me up to the Collegetown office once that's done, because I'm already going to be late and there's no point wasting even more time standing around waiting for a bus.
3. I completely forgot that I'd scheduled a blood donation appointment for 10:15am Thursday morning, and am now committed to being in two places at once. Awkward. I'm undecided whether to come in to work around 12:30pm that day, or to reschedule the appointment for a different blood drive...
