daily update, Wednesday April 8

1. Not the IRS 11am-1:30pm. That is longer than I meant to be at work, but while I was dealing with the planned drop-off client's tax return, an unexpected client walked in asking for me specifically, so I did their taxes as a second drop-off. Obviously that required some extra time. *wry*
I have applied to work during the extended season from April 15 to July 15, but I won't know if I've been accepted/hired for those two months until sometime next week. I will be okay with whatever district management decides.
2. Took a walk.
3. Took my plants out for the afternoon and back in again for the evening.
4. Some Board of Trustees stuff: namely, emailing some suggestions of people who might be good Board or Nominating Committee candidates to the person who's collating them for the Nominating Committee, and looking over a loan application form to get a better sense of the work required to complete and submit it.
5. Took a nap.
6. Baked a loaf of banana bread.
7. Called my parents to check in. They are doing fine! My phone, however, is clearly not doing fine, by which I mean it has developed a habit of dropping calls after somewhere between 15 minutes to 1 hour with the note "out of service area" and the refusing to let me call the person back OR accept an incoming call for at least a minute thereafter. I need to contact Verizon and ask them what the heck is going on and how to fix it.
8. Added ~600 words to the Narnian/Naruto crossover, which is now DONE in rough draft at ~10,600 words! \o/ It needs SO MUCH fleshing out and revision, but still. The draft is complete! :DDD
