So uh. A thing happened at work today.

First, some background. ( cut for a vague attempt at work-related privacy )

I don't know. I asked for the weekend to think it over, which Mom Boss and Aunt Boss agreed to since this was sprung on them nearly as abruptly as on me.

...

I think I need to talk to some family and friends. Because financially, it would be a good move, but in terms of my emotional balance and stress levels? I am leery. But also, if I turn it down, that's not a great look...
