Things done:

1. Gave blood! \o/ This was at the local BOCES campus (I think it's officially the Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES?) where I donated last time. I could not get there effectively without a car, but with a car it's quite simple.

2. Activated my new credit card. (My old one was set to expire in September so the company mailed a replacement.)

3. Agreed to work 9am-10am at the downtown office Wednesday-Friday this week before my regularly scheduled shifts at the Commons office, in order to help the new downtown temp get the hang of their job. (...Did I mention that the previous downtown temp quit with no notice this weekend? Because they did, which means I will probably be picking up some more of Mr. Geniality's job so he can pick up more of Ms. Busywork's job? Because that happened.) I have very little idea how things are (dis)organized at the downtown office, but I am operating on the assumption that I'm supposed to explain some basic things about the software programs we use and maybe also impart some Collegetown best practices, which should be simple enough.

4. Returned a library book and picked up a new one I had on hold. The county library isn't open open, but they are doing in-building hold pickups on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and pre-scheduled curbside pickups on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This is very helpful for me.

5. Bought a new toilet seat at Lowe's since my current one has... well, the seat itself is still 95% fine, but one of the little plastic supports has been snapped/smashed clean off so it's a little unbalanced when I sit on it, and one of the hinge mechanisms has also had a plastic bit snap. So I figured it's time for a replacement. As I was inspecting the seat, I noticed that there also seems to be some kind of minor leak from the toilet itself when it refills after flushing, but the leak doesn't seem to be constant which is puzzling. I will try to get a better look at what's happening once I have the toilet seat off and can get a better angle.

6. Bought several new work-appropriate t-shirts at Target since they were on sale.

7. Bought groceries, including some supplies for my new office (Febreze and handsoap for the bathroom, a box of disposable masks in case prospective tenants on a tour forget to bring their own, a box of crackers because snacks are important, etc.).

8. Faffed about in my garden for ~10 minutes.

And now I think I will go to bed because I stayed up a bit too late last night and sleep is important, especially since I'm supposed to manage coherent explanations and teaching in the morning.
