There has been a continuing issue with my new downtown keys, where they will work correctly in locks that are perfectly aligned, but the moment a lock gets a bit finicky, the keys stick and refuse to turn -- or in one case wouldn't go into the lock at all.

The downtown Maintenance guy thinks this is because they were cut a little too pointy and should probably be sanded down a bit. He's going to have our key guy take a look tomorrow.

This is particularly relevant because they ALSO just made a new set of downtown keys for Company Owner's sister, and if HERS don't work... well, that's going to be a big problem for a lot of people, real fast.

...

In other news, after I spent 9am-10am getting a spare computer and scanner set up in the downtown office so I could begin catching up on their document scanning backlog, I drove home to grab a couple things I'd forgotten (this is why I like inflexible morning routines! I get all mixed up without them because I am only about 50-80% awake before 9:30am no matter how good a job I do at faking alertness!), drove halfway back into town, and walked the rest of the way to the Commons office. It was kind of a mess. *sigh*

But on to other tasks! extended blather about organization and rental ad strategies )

...

Now I think I will go mix up some brownies, after which I will lie down for fifteen minutes while they bake. Then I will try to get some writing done. :)
