Things I did at work today:

1. Attempted to set up seven apartment showing tours in response to inquiries. Of those, only one person responded and showed up. (They were quite positive and I have hopes they will rent, so, you know, that's something.) Three more prospective tours are for Thursday or Friday so we'll see if any of them turn up.

2. Took the aforementioned prospect on a tour.

3. Staged, photographed, and unstaged five mini-studios. (A mini-studio, for future reference, is a halfway point between a room in shared housing and a full private studio. That is, you get your own bathroom plus a mini-fridge and microwave, but for actual cooking you have to use the shared kitchen and there's a shared lounge area if anyone wants a couch or a television.)

4. Unstaged the studio I'd left dressed up over the weekend (Mr. Geniality and Lawyer Man got the video done on Monday), and then staged and unstaged two additional studios in that same building.

5. Got my shiny new photos uploaded to our website for two apartments. The others will have to wait until tomorrow. Also downloaded all of today's shiny new photos to the shared office drive, but I only got the morning batch uploaded to Google Photos for Miss Cactus to work with. *sigh*

6. Set up my lovely new electric kettle and made myself a cup of tea! \o/

7. Decided to wait on setting up the microwave until tomorrow, let alone upacking and assembling either the office chair or the shelving unit.

8. On my walk home, spotted a set of four lightweight plastic plates with a not unreasonable design around the edges in a "free, please take" box someone had set out on their verge (this is a standard Ithaca pattern -- putting stuff out for any passerby to take and only paying trash removal fees if nobody's grabbed it within a week or so) and nabbed them for apartment staging purposes. They are so much lighter than the two china plates we currently have, which I'm shipping back to the downtown office anyway since they're not useful to me in the Commons office.

...

...

When I got home, I called Cat for our scheduled phone chat (rainchecked from yesterday because she had a migraine, poor thing), made some hardboiled eggs, and now intend to fall directly into bed because I am wiped out.
