wherein work continues to be Too Much
Aug. 6th, 2020 08:38 pmToday at work I:
1. Uploaded some old photos for Miss Cactus to use in ads until we can get new, staged photos of apartments of those specific types in those specific buildings.
2. Made some new ads and updated old ones to account for a new special. (For Craigslist, this took ~10 minutes. For the local landlords' association website, it took ~90 minutes because their photo editor has a nasty habit of getting stuck in endless loops after which you have to refresh the whole page and start over. *headdesk*)
3. Answered some inquiries and attempted to arrange some tours.
4. Fielded a tenant's maintenance issue and transferred a couple of financial questions to the accounting department.
5. Inspected several apartments.
6. Un-staged a two-bedroom apartment and carted all the materials back to my office.
7. Unboxed my shiny new office microwave. Then realized I had no place to put it, so I moved an armchair to serve as a temporary "table" because at least that was better than the floor. *sigh* Fortunately Maintenance Guy has a random table in storage that doesn't really work as either a dining table or an end table and he said he'll bring it to my office tomorrow.
8. Updated all available apartment prices on our website. Updated prices in some of our ads to match.
9. Staged and photographed a 3-bedroom apartment. Mr. Geniality came over to take video, but Lawyer Man had made off with the gimbal AGAIN so what we shot was some probably quite wobbly footage on Mr. Geniality's cell phone, plus some good still photos of closets and bathrooms. We left the apartment staged in case Lawyer Man can't work with our footage and decides to reshoot the raw video tomorrow.
10. Began putting together a shelving unit.
...
In other news, I ordered a birthday present for my friend Susan and am having it shipped directly to her, and Nick and I had a brief but good phone chat this evening.
Now I think I will have some cheese and crackers and alcohol before I fall into bed.
