wherein Liz gets sweaty
May. 18th, 2021 04:52 pmThings done so far today:
1. Triage some work email. Because it's my day off, I only answer things I can do in like 10 seconds with a pre-written template. Everything else goes directly to Mr. Geniality.
2. Weeded the garden patch, which I really should have done in April but eh.
3. Dug eight holes.
4. Transplanted my baby zucchini and squash, stuck markers next to them so nobody else pulls them as weeds, and watered them extensively.
5. Took my bell pepper seedlings outdoors for another afternoon acclimation trip. I think I will pot them tonight and move them outdoors for good tomorrow morning. Then I'll just have two belated tomatoes that aren't ready yet to move into their adult plastic storage containers. (Container gardening tip: planters are expensive. It's much cheaper to buy plastic buckets or storage bins and poke/melt drainage holes in their bottoms. I do that with an unidentified metal tool I inherited from my dad, which I heat in the flames of my gas stove burner.)
...
Now I think I will go take a walk, after which I will do my weekly grocery run. :)
