First we have Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!, or Uchiha Tsukime as a Sailor Scout. This is entirely my fault for commenting in response to her previous portrait. (Also posted on her lj.)

Then alliancesjr got into the spirit of things and suggested this: Moon Scroll no Jutsu, Activate!

And this last one (which is also my fault -- sorry, gabriel_chaos!) actually works better for Lemonade, really -- anyone remember Sasuke the Magical Ninja? Well here he is, along with his big brother. Er, sister. Er... whatever.

The first is Yukiko and Naruto, probably shortly after the end of "Apartment Manager," or between chapter 17 and the epilogue.

That's one of the nicest things someone can do - draw fan art from one of your fics. Several people (well, 2-3) have done that for me, and I'm still thrilled about it :D *points to icon*

I know -- I can't stop smiling! :-D See?

I feel I have now 'arrived' as a Real Fanfiction Writer, or something like that. *snickers quietly* (It still amuses me that I seem to be about a hundred times better known for writing Naruto fanfiction than HP fanfiction, even though my great Naruto epic is centered on a female original character... two OFCs, actually. I demand balance! Someone needs to draw me a picture of Ginny and Sir Vladislav, damnit!)

Oooh! *pounces*

Relevant details included in the story: short black hair, very pale skin, freaky eyes like Orochimaru, dangly mother-of-pearl earrings (exact shape unspecified -- go on, show me what they look like!), bandages around her hands and arms, mesh shirt, purple vest, dark pants with bandages wrapped around the ankles (and possibly shins as well; I can't remember offhand). Her smile is cockeyed and her body language is restricted... unless she's fighting.

I don't think she carries a lot of weapons, but you could always convince me otherwise. As to how her outfit changes once she has a chuunin vest instead of her habitual purple... well, knock yourself out! (Please keep the earrings, though. I like the earrings.)

I would have drawn the Secrets one for balance too, but suits of armor are EVIL hard. Too many lines. 'Sides I don't have references for Ginny. Anyway, this is an off-scene thing where Naga is upset that she has to dress up and go outside and wait for everyone at the teahouse. That's chapter 17 I think.... yeah, here: "Naga was waiting outside, scuffing her feet idly on the pavement. Taizen had forced her daughter into a white kimono decorated with lavender flowers, which Naga wore with a distinct air of righteous suffering and a subtle awkwardness, as though she wasn't quite sure how to move in a skirt."

(self-critism: I don't actually like this. Her expression is all messed up and orochimaru's eyes don't suit the non-evil. Maybe I should have only kept the color... Also, the window draws too much attention. I only put it in to show that she is properly short for her age, and she still looks too old. Grah.)

To make it even trickier, Sir Vladislav isn't so much a 'suit' of armor, as 'a collection of armor worn by a guy who kicked the bucket in 1216.' (I think Legnica was 1216. Unless it was 1214. I'm sure it was 12-hundred-something at any rate. Cannot remember own research. Am idiot.) So he has a helmet, and some sort of shoulder-plates, but then I think he has a chainmail shirt instead of plate armor. And he has greaves and arm-guards, but there's also a fair bit of leather in places. (Boiled, you know, to make it tougher.) And you'd have to look up the proper surcoat and acoutrements for the Teutonic Knights, which as I recall took me something like an hour of frustrated combing through various websites to find -- they're really big on the history of Crusading orders, but kind of sparse on the clothing styles. And the Templars kind of push all the other orders to the sidenotes anyway. *sigh*

Anyway.

I like it! I like her kind of ragged hair, and the earrings. (Really like the earrings.) And the kimono is gorgeous, even though Naga is kind of "You want me to wear this?" Orochimaru's eyes are freaky, yeah, but I like them anyway.

I actually really like Orochimaru's eyes too, which is bad because I end up drawing him way more then I want to. :/ Usually when I draw the eyes I try to turn them into snakes, which works very well.

Oh yeah, and the one thing I forgot to mention is that the flowers that I put on the kimono are Borage which mean courage and bluntness in the language of flowers (Which is very easy to research). Whee, research. ^^

I'm glad you like it- it seems just a small favor in comparison to all the writing you've shared with us.
