Friday night I got a call from my friend Andrew, saying that he was going to be in Ithaca this weekend for his sister's graduation from Cornell. So we did breakfast this morning. I don't see him very often, and we're both bad about emailing each other, so it was nice to catch up.

The funny thing is, Andrew is sort of a secondhand friend. I met him because he knew Cat and Susan through a summer music camp thing, but I think that they've lost touch with him and I'm the only one who still maintains (tenuous) contact. I'm not quite sure how that happened...

(Also, he still has the first three volumes of Preacher that I lent him over a year ago. I think I may start emailing him each month if only to include a postscript reminding him to find and return them. *grin*)

Anyway, today was a beautiful day, and tomorrow I will earn overtime pay for working on a holiday. Hurrah for money!
