fun at the store

I think, to be on the safe side, all I will say is that GS was out drinking until 3:30am last night when he knew he had to open the store at 7:00am this morning. And that MS and I had a long conversation about what DB would be like as a porn director, in which we had far too much fun speculating about his interest in cars. And that practically every conversation GS, MS, and I had inevitably detoured into bad sexual innuendo, all day long. This is not good when you work in a store that sells porn. Or when you're ringing up some man's cigars on the register. Or when you're de-liming the coffee machine, which involves inserting a long wire into the place where the water comes out, and shoving it in and out several times.

I think what drives me nuts about that sort of thing is that once you start thinking in double meanings, you cannot stop, and everything develops sexual undertones. Most irritating, especially when I'm trying to get work done.
