edenfallingI get to start writing my NaNo novel tonight. *rubs hands gleefully* I have chapter one outlined already!
Oh, and the revised, edited, and not sucky version of Fire finally went up on FA this afternoon. Go! Read! Possibly even review!

This afternoon, after church, I went to the public library to renew some books I'm using as reference material for my as yet untitled novel. I told the librarian I was renewing them. She nodded, ran them through the system, and walked off to dump them on a shelving cart.
It turned out she thought I was returning them. I enunciate better than that!
Then, of course, she couldn't remember where on the cart she'd put them, even though she'd just set them down twenty seconds ago, and had to paw through all the books until she reached mine. And run them through the system again.
Argh.
I left really quickly, hoping the bus was still waiting outside -- and it was! Of course, just as I walked up to the door, the f*cking b*tch driver pulled away, even though it was a whole minute before her scheduled departure time and I was clearly trying to board.
I hate it when things like that happen. Hate hate hate. Of course, the emotions almost always roll off within a few minutes -- I am literally incapable of holding onto anger -- but my god, I don't like feeling that way.
