3 things: work, winter, and writing

We were doing so well at work even with PM gone, and then yesterday there was a Thing with the Coca-Cola order, which meant I couldn't do beverage transfers today, but hopefully we'll get the invoice back from STNC tomorrow so I can figure out what happened and how to fix it. Yay? (Also, I remembered to do employee magazines, which I forgot on Tuesday, so that's good.)
AO accidentally X'd register 1 at midday cashup, instead of Z'ing it, which means that whoever does cashup tomorrow morning (me or JM) gets to have lots of fun with subtraction. (Z'ing prints and resets the register tally. X'ing just prints the current tally without resetting the count. So in order to find the afternoon/evening shift tallies, we'll have to subtract the morning out of the whole day. I wrote out all the relevant numbers on scrap paper to save time, but it's still annoying.)

2. I am getting so SICK AND TIRED of winter. Especially slush. I loathe slush much more than I loathe ice or snow. (I suspect that if I drove, I'd hate ice the most, but I walk, so slush is my nemesis. Blecch.)

3. I stopped Sir Vladislav from derailing his conversation with Ginny. He promptly attempted to derail it in a different direction. What IS it with him and the Christian references? (Okay, he's the armor of a crusading knight and he guarded a castle during the Thirty Years War, so it would be weird if he weren't Catholic to some degree, but still. *makes face*) I foresee a lot of editing in my future.
But! I got him and Ginny to wrap up their dialogue and now I just need to nudge Ginny through a bit of internal monologue and send her off to lurk outside the History of Magic classroom until Colin comes out. (I think. It may change in the writing. My outlines often do. *sigh*)
