In other news, I am leaving on vacation Saturday morning. (Which, I guess, is technically later today, seeing as it's now roughly 1am. *sigh*) I will fly to the Twin Cities and spend the night with my parents and their dog in a motel. Sunday morning two of us will probably attend the closing service of GA (the UUA's annual General Assembly), just to see what it's like. Then we drive up to the lake, where we will stay until late Friday afternoon. Next Saturday morning, I fly back to Ithaca.

I am packed and ready to go. Hopefully the weather will be as nice as predicted (mid-70s all the way, mixed sun-and-clouds, no rain), and my flights will not have any complications!

And now to finish putting away laundry and a few other chores so my apartment will be tidy-ish when I come home. :-)

I am not actually attending GA, as such -- my parents are. But apparently the closing service is open to anyone (whether you are an attendee or not), so I thought it would be interesting to go. :-)
