It hit 100 degrees on the Commons this afternoon. Weather Underground informs me that, hypothetically, the outdoor air temperature may drop to the upper 60s for at least five minutes sometime maybe an hour before sunrise. Since it was about 85 degrees and humid as fuck when I walked home at 9:30pm, and I still wish it were possible to be more naked than naked as I sit here with three fans going full steam at quarter to two in the morning, this is not much comfort.
It is too hot to think.
Editing is, therefore, not happening.
Possibly editing will not be happening until the weekend, since the weather is supposed to continue beastly hot at least through Friday (with bonus chance of severe thunderstorms Friday and Saturday, meaning potentially no electricity, oh joy). It depends on how much sleep I get and whether I am physically capable of, you know, actual coherent thought.
In any case, when my computer is, quite literally, intermittently crashing because of the heat -- and this with a fan aimed right at it from two feet away -- I think I can be excused some delay.
