The Amanes are arguing in circles. Fortunately, I am about to interrupt them with Plot. *evil laughter*

Then I return to Naga, who is attempting to question a civilian about Itachi's movements. This could go wrong in all sorts of ways... *more evil laughter*

2,900 words so far!

(And now off to work until 9pm. I am bringing a set of pantyhose to wear under my pants and socks on the way home, since it's predicted to drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit tonight, and I would rather not get frostbite, thanks ever so. Blecch.)

It did seem that they were due for some Plot to fall on them, poor suckers.

I'm embarrassed to say it took me until my second reading to realize where the Amanes were drawn from. Er, congratulations for making them fit into the Naruto world so seamlessly?

Then Ginji and Tetsuko decided they wanted to be siblings

*amused* Characters, what can you do with them?

I was actually thinking that Eiji reminded me a lot of Teshimine, with the idealism and his relationship to Ginji, and the pragmatism he finally gives in to, and the conflicts he has over that. Later-manga Teshimine, at least.
