Ha! Found an emotional throughline, fixed sections one and two to include it, and am a third of the way through section three. I so rock.

Also, I have turned a two-character drabble with possibly shippy subtext into an ensemble gen piece, which makes me happier than it really ought to, but whatever. The world always needs more ensemble gen pieces about the power of friendship and family. You cannot convince me otherwise. :-)
