I wrote the opening of scene two while killing time at the supermarket (it only takes me fifteen minutes to shop, -- twenty if the lines are very long -- but because of bus schedules, I am always stuck in Tops for fifty minutes), typed it up when I got home, and also went back to twiddle the end of scene one so it's a little less abrupt.

1,800 words so far. So yeah, ch. 15 will not be done tomorrow, but I am pretty sure it will be done by next Sunday. :-)

On a completely different topic, low pressure systems always make me tired. I want to lounge around and contemplate the zen of the universe, not run errands, go to work, or even think in the coherent fashion that writing demands. Thunderstorms often counteract that lethargy a bit -- there is a, forgive me, electric tension that accompanies them -- but today the lethargy won over the lightning. Ah well.

I'm not sure if you follow LJ anymore or just Dreamwidth, but I wanted to make sure you saw this. (http://quillofferings.livejournal.com/149652.html) It's kind of an extension based on our conversations about Narnia. <3 And yeah, it's been in the works forever.

I still read my LJ f-list! I read it more often than my DW circle, actually, and it's still significantly larger. Thanks for the link, though -- sometimes entries seem to get lost for several hours on my friends page, as if they've fallen into a gap between skip10 and skip20 or some-such, and I would not have wanted to miss your story. :-)

Speaking of Peter, I did finally finish the Mary Pevensie character study for my genderswap thing, which I hope explains some of why she acts so unlike Peter in the other ficlets. It's here if you're still interested. (I also wrote a version of the gifts scene from LWW, because of someone's comment ages ago that Mary receiving a sword would be even more meaningful -- more of a validation -- to her than it was to Peter.)
