sleep logic /= earth logic, apparently
Aug. 24th, 2011 06:35 pmMy story about the earthquake that discombobulated the east coast yesterday:
I was taking a nap at the time. I halfway woke when my bed started moving oddly and tried, in a fuzzy way, to work out what was going on. Then I heard my upstairs neighbors moving around in the room directly above me and said to myself, "Oh, of course. They must be moving their bed, so obviously my bed is moving in sympathy." Confusion thus resolved, I fell back to sleep.
When I woke up properly an hour later and learned about the earthquake, I was rather amused. :-)
