Please allow me to direct your attention to a story written for me by the wonderful

willowgreen, in response to a prompt meme. I asked for *ponders* How about... Star Trek: AOS (the reboot), something gen with Uhura and Kirk bickering on a mission until they run into some kind of trouble and instantly work together to kick ass (metaphorically or otherwise). :-) Other crew members are welcome too!

In reply, I got Unbeatable: In which an argument about potential cheating at poker is interrupted by a distress call, the details of which are bizarre enough that one might peg the odds of encountering such a situation at three point two four million to one. Of course, this is the Enterprise. They eat odds like that for breakfast. *grin*
