Have dropped computer off at Best Buy and will not see it again for a while. Have bought groceries. Am not sure what to do with rest of day. Laundry, probably. Maybe other housework, too. Bah.

Question: which would you prefer if I do the Narnia Big Bang? A sequel to "Out of Season," or the full version of the LWW genderswap I wrote the character studies for ("As the Morning and the Night")?

Out of Season, absolutely. I like the gender swap as a character study very much -- it's really interesting to see the story play out in that way. But, I don't know that I see it having the same storytelling cohesiveness of an Out of Season sequel.

Well, "As the Morning and the Night" would essentially be LWW over again, so there's a plot automatically provided, but yeah, a fair amount of it is just me going, "Soooo... wouldn't it be neat if...?"

On the other hand, I don't really have a plot for an "Out of Season" sequel yet, just a vague notion that the rest of that year must have been something else to live through, what with the whole donkey!Rabadash thing, the "how do we work a donkey into the Autumn Festival?" thing, and then the "but can he still be the heir, given his curse?" thing. Plus an impending marriage, I guess. But that's not a plot; that's just a series of events. It needs a theme to hold it together, and I don't have one yet. *ponders*

Well, you have the two themes of relationships -- Rabadash's marriage perhaps? or some sort of fallout in Narnia and the Ilgamuth and Shezan. So many options!
