First TV show fandom I had self-insertion fantasies about:
Pamela F. Service's Winter of Magic's Return and Tomorrow's Magic. I had this whole epic sequel planned out wherein a ship arrived in England from America and Arthur and Margaret sent Merlin, Heather, and Welly across the Atlantic to investigate... and it turned out that some people had kept magic alive through the long ages of technology, and a girl in New Jersey (i.e., me, but I pretended to give her a different name) had accidentally pulled a sort of reverse of the time-travel magic Morgan used in the climax of Tomorrow's Magic and catapulted herself and a town library several hundred years into the future when the bombs dropped, and was helping some people rebuild civilization on the new land that had appeared on the edge of the eastern seaboard with the falling ocean levels.

I didn't have much plot, and this being me, there was also no romance -- though my self-insert and Welly did end up great friends and basically did all the political grown-up stuff while Merlin and Heather were off doing something with marauding magical mutants or whatever. I didn't know fanfiction was a thing that existed back then, so I never did anything with my self-insertion fantasies, but they occupied enough of a place in my heart that I suspect one reason I was not enamored with Yesterday's Magic (when Service finally returned to her series) was that the book ran so incredibly counter to my daydreams. Also, she sidelined Welly, which you will note was something I was carefully trying to avoid. (I love Heather and Merlin to bits, but dude, that's supposed to be a trio, not a couple plus a bumbling hanger-on.)

First fandom in which I interacted with other fans:
Harry Potter. I discovered online fanfiction in February 2002, fell headfirst into fandom, and never looked back. *grin*

If we're not talking fanfiction fandom, though, you could count practically anything my sister and I both read as kids and teens, because we would dissect them at great and exhaustive length. I also used to talk Wheel of Time with some people in high school, but that was more of a Wild Mass Guessing thing we did on slow days in certain classes.

Pairing in the first slash fanfiction I read:
I can't remember for certain -- slash was not something that I thought of as in any way different from het, just another possible combination of characters, so it's not like "baby's first slash, OMG!!!" was any kind of memorable moment for me -- but given the fandom, it was most likely Harry/Draco.

First RPS/RPF I read:
Hell if I know. Probably Supernatural RPS, though, since I think Supernatural FPF and RPF are much more tightly intertwined than in most fandoms, perhaps because RPF seems less transgressive when the main FPF pairing is, you know, incestuous. (Or was back before Castiel was introduced, at least. I am not really in that fandom -- it's just a thing I read sometimes when I am in a particular mood -- so it's not like I keep up on its trends.)

First fanfiction I read that made me think, 'YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...':
Again, hell if I know. I do not keep track of these kinds of things! Also, I got into writing fanfiction not because I admired a story or writer and wanted to do something similar, but because I disliked a set of writers and the way they handled a pairing (Harry/Ginny, for the record) and wanted to do it right, as it were.

First time I remember getting really turned on by a fic:
For the third time, hell if I know! If you held me at gunpoint and made me guess, though, I suppose the least unlikely answer is something along the lines of, "Pick a scene in Lori's epic H/Hr trilogy where Harry is being especially badass, and/or the sidefic of the first time Hermione and Harry have sex." I mean, I don't think that's the absolute first time I was turned on by a fic, but it was one of the first fics I read and there were parts of it that turned me on, so. (Also, I often get turned on by parts of stories that are not about sex -- I have a Thing about power, okay? -- whereas actual sex scenes are frequently boring, boring, boring.)

First OTP:
NA, bzzzt, try again. *grin* There are definitely pairings and groupings I like better than others, and there are some where even if the people are not together romantically, they had damn well still better be involved as friends, but I am willing to be convinced of almost anything when it comes to romance, probably because it's not a subject near and dear to my heart.

First RPS/F OTP:
None. It's weird enough to be reading about real people, even though the fic versions are often so removed from their inspirations that they might as well be OCs.

First fannish friend I met in person:
None. I don't go to cons, I don't have money to travel to anywhere other than family visits, and I live in a place too out-of-the-way for many other fans to be likely to visit. (Also, the one time [livejournal.com profile] willowgreen came to Ithaca and we might have met, I was away in Minnesota for the week. *sadface*)

This is not to say I don't know people who are somewhat fannish -- one of my coworkers used to write deliberately bad Trigun fic in high school, for example -- but I have never met someone online first and then in person.

First character I formally roleplayed:
None. I don't roleplay or cosplay. Remember, I have never met any online fannish friends in person. So who would I do that with? (I also do not use instant messaging programs, partly because I dislike being 'available' that way, partly because I never knew how to break conversations when I was using said programs in college, and partly because I am very introverted and therefore do not have the spoons for real-time human interaction when I am home and trying to recharge myself via solitude. I like people, but eeesh, they're exhausting.)

...

Well, that meme was certainly not aimed at me, was it? *wry*

Lori wrote some seriously awesome R-rated sex scenes :D I think I met about half of my friends here on LJ through her stories.
