I was thinking you should tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "Liz, I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?

I'm not actually promising to write any of these, mind you, but it's fun anyway. And who knows if I'll be inspired!

...Because clearly I do not have enough on my plate already. *wry* (And okay, yeah, you can use this to tell me which of my WIPs I should focus on next, though any NEW ideas would also be welcome.)

Ooooh. That would be evil. And wonderful. And would have to either be under 500 words for maximum punch distillation, or over 10,000 to include all the necessary plot. But still, wonderful!

See, now, this is where I wish I could hook you up to a direct neurological feed of my daydreams, because I like to run that scenario in my head as I'm falling asleep. This means I have certain scenes and concepts refined to where they ping me the maximum amount, but I don't have any of them written. But I will see if I can pick one or two incidents and write them down. :-)

Yay thanks :D (I read that AU shortly before starting to watch Code Geass, and was briefly convinced that Suzuku had some type of fire Geass because of the phoenix aspect before figuring out that the geasses don't work that way lol)

You've mentioned a Homestuck prompt a week or so back regarding the various dead guys John and Jade brought through the Fourth Wall. I would like to suggest you focus on that one, because I am unabashedly biased towards Homestuck. Also it's kind of a weird prompt but I've always found your writing to have a... dignity to it? Like, between you notes on worldbuilding and your discussion on pacing and the like, more than anything else I've always felt like you really cared about the material, if that makes sense? ...Which is something about your writing I've always admired.

...Also I think I wrote that prompt? Haha sorry everything's probably awkward now, I don't know how to talk to people online.

I do intend to finish that one! It's such a neat prompt about an easily overlooked consequence of all the grand drama, plus I think it's an interesting way to do some character study of John, Jade, and Davesprite.

It's just on hold (along with the next chapter of the sedoretu AU) while I reread to make sure I have all my character and world-building details in order. For example, my response to your prompt involves some scenes with the kids' various consorts, so I want to have John's interactions with the salamanders fresh in my mind when I write them. (Also I confess I don't remember where all the bodies are or who knows about which deaths, shhh, don't tell.)

Which I guess goes along with caring about the material? If I am going to write something at all, I like to try to write it to the best of my ability, which in my mind includes not contradicting canon unless I deliberately mean to. :-)
