selenak: If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've made and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

No reason, really, just idle curiosity while I am attempting to get Ilgamuth et al out of Had Ordjah already, jesus christ on a cracker, why is this TAKING SO LONG??? >_<

Argh.

Um, wow. I have no idea. There's a lot of things you've written that struck me as very smart/evocative/meaningful, and it's hard to remember one on command. @__@

I hate that effect -- you know something, you know you know it, and the minute someone asks about it you lose the ability to access the knowledge. So frustrating!

I think it would be "Way of the Apartment Manager", various bits of Yukiko's genjutsu scenes. The genjutsu to set directions off by ten degrees, I like that one, and I liked how she used genjutsu to get her teammates through the obstacle course. And I liked how Kakashi playacted a marvelously bratty client.

I really liked writing the genjutsu scenes. I am a little sad I haven't had the opportunity to do any similarly extensive scenes in "Guardian" yet; there have been lots of little moments, but nothing really in-depth. Ah well. I know Yukiko will be in at least two fight scenes before the end of the story, and at some point I want to get her and Kurenai to sit down, trade some jutsu, and talk about the differences between their illusion styles.

Kakashi wrote himself through most of "Apartment Manager," but he consistently added to the story so I just sat back and let him run with it. :-)
