Ha, finished! So... is anyone willing to beta for me? By which I mean, anyone who is NOT also participating in NFE (and therefore might be my recipient).

It's a pretty short story, between 1,000 and 5,000 words, and I promise you don't need to know anything about Narnia canon to understand it. Mostly I just need a quick grammar-and-spelling check and also an assurance that I successfully mimicked the thing I'm trying to mimick, and that it does count as a valid answer to the prompt I was given. (I am always worried about that last point, since I have an unfortunate tendency to write somewhat diagonal to prompts instead of responding directly.)

I can send the file tonight, or anytime after about 6pm EDT tomorrow.
