1. "Secrets" progress = 200 words, for a new total of 7,500. In other words, I finished Xanthe's letter. Now I have to figure out how Ginny will react.

2. Today was AS's second training day at the smoke shop. Things seem to be progressing well! I got to do some actual training instead of being out in the back room all the time like I was yesterday.

3. I got off work at 5pm today, so after lunch (my schedule is offset several hours toward the night, okay?) I drove to the mall and bought seven long-sleeved shirts at Target, to replace a bunch of plain, solid-color long-sleeved shirts I bought from L.L. Bean back in high school. Those shirts served me long and well, but a few years ago they started to get ragged and by the end of last winter they were seriously tatty around the hems and seams. So I found something serviceable and bought copies in various colors. Probably these shirts will only last half as long (if that), but they are cheap and convenient which is good enough for now.

Man, I've never had a shirt last that long (except maybe a formal shirt or so that I never actually wear), but then I do buy cheap. And really, I suppose it might be a good thing, seeing as I seem to be constitutionally incapable of not staining shirts anyway.
