a slow day

Things I did today:
1. Teacher orientation meeting for RE. I am teaching K/1 this year (which means I get the kids who were the kindergarten contingent of last year's class, plus some new, younger kids) with three co-teachers. We shall see how it goes.
2. Wrote 250 words of "Secrets" for a new total of 7,900. Bleh, philosophy. I also need to go back and at least skim previous chapters, because I have forgotten things like Xanthe's verbal quirks (I remember that she has some, just not what they are) and whether Tom ever pulled Ginny into the diary for a memory replay. This is why writing stories on such absurdly attenuated schedules is a bad idea.
3. There is no #3.
Hey, I never claimed to be anything but lazy. :-)

I am having a blast!
Wanna trade lesson plans?
We are discussing the Torah, making a quilt, and made butter yesterday.
