I love my company.

At least once a week, somebody has a lunch gathering for some reason, and one can usually scrounge free leftovers.

Free food is brilliant.

(Also, the coffee machine doesn't charge any money. I don't drink coffee, but the machine does a mean cup of hot chocolate!)

Free food, free chocolate, free coffee? Either they are intent on pampering you or they've figured out making employees provide their own caffeine leads to coffee clubs, and from thence to reduced productivity and attrition (hopefully not by homicide).

I think part of it is that half of the company does food service programs. So it would be kind of weird not to have decent vending machines and whatnot. :-)

It does pretty much kill the coffee clubs, though, except for those people who are into gourmet coffee.
