I hate being sick
Dec. 29th, 2012 07:42 pmThe trouble with having things one needs to get done within a limited time window is that while the body can be pushed to remarkable lengths when necessary, once those things are finally completed, one tends to crash. Hard. And get sick.
As I have done.
It probably didn't help that my manager has been slowly recovering from a nasty cold and was probably still contagious this past week, but suffice it to say that I am well and thoroughly down with a cold: respiratory yick, chest congestion, headache, joint aches, vaguely feverish symptoms, lead-weight exhaustion and all. Bleh.
I have excused myself from teaching RE tomorrow morning, but will attempt to struggle through my shift at the smoke shop with the aid of naps and a lot of time spent sitting down.
And now I am going to bed. Hopefully I will feel less like roadkill in the morning.
