I want to write something but I have no motivation or inspiration. Bluh.

Oh, hey, thought! I have nineteen Cotton Candy Bingo prompts left and no idea what to do with them. (Fluff is not, alas, my greatest strength.) I will list the prompts here -- if anyone has suggestions for what I could write with any of them, please feel free to tell me! You never know, you might get a ficlet out of it. :-)

Prompts are: unexpected love, money, hug, I becomes we, don't need to get married, healing, keys, music, sprains/strains, babysitting, candles, headache, WILD CARD, miniatures, comfortable/content, news, tickle, clouds, and back rub.

Hee, thanks! I would not wear the hat myself, but that's only because I don't wear any hats -- I dislike the way they feel on my head. Alas!

(P.S. Tangentially, do you have any thoughts on Chapel being a doctor rather than a nurse? I changed it because... well, Reasons, but it was late and I wasn't thoroughly awake, and while making her a doctor makes a statement about "yes, we will give female characters jobs equal in status to male characters," it also makes a statement to the effect of "oh and by the way, I don't think nurses do important work." I mean the first one, but the latter makes me uncomfortable as a writer, so... basically, do you think I should change her back to her TOS job title before I crosspost this anywhere?)

Hmm. I tend to prefer Doctor Chapel, because I think the jobs done by nurses and by doctors would be subsumed into a meta job description of illness care and cure. (And I am disappointed they didn't make Chekov a girl, since he's conceived after the timeline branched and he had a ton of non-gendered character traits that would have kept things obvious to viewers...) In a larger fic you'd have space to show that doctors and nurses each have areas of authority; it a short fic the title Dr. might stand for authority without having to go into it too much.
