I HAVE MOVED!

Dear god, I hurt.

Sofa. Bed. Table and chairs. 5 bookcases. Kitchen cabinet. Computer table. Coffee table. Two stackable cabinet units. Giant trunk full of clothes. More clothes. Boxes and boxes of random stuff.

And 30-odd boxes of books.

All lugged across town and up one and a half flights of stairs.

My feet hurt. My arms hurt. My back hurts. My legs hurt.

And I'm not even unpacked yet!

*collapses into a puddle of sweat and pain*

*hunts for camera* I think I can figure out the scanner in Uris library this weekend...

I tried to write something last night -- I set up the computer before I unpacked much else; I am a slave to my word processor -- but it was so hot and I was so sore that I couldn't think properly. But I will be working on "Knives" tonight, after I unpack and shelve my books. (Because the story will be okay in my head for a day or two, but the books really need a chance to air out after getting rained on.)
