It's only twelve-thirty, this is way too early for me to go to bed, I should be editing "Secrets," there is stuff I want to read, I should drink some juice because vitamins yay, I need to put away laundry and consolidate my trash before my parents' flying visit tomorrow, I should--

I went to bed, dozed fitfully for about 45 minutes, then gave up and Did All The Things before drugging myself with Benadryl and going to bed properly around 3am. :-/

But it worked out! My parents made it to Ithaca and we transfered the car, I did not fall asleep at work (in fact, we were collectively so efficient that Boss Lady disappeared into the back room to catch up on paperwork and administrative phone calls and stuff, while Lemme-Tell-Ya and I did an extra maintenance task each), and given that he has not called me in bewildered panic, I am assuming that Puppydog is managing to successfully close on his own for the first time. (Of course, we lock the doors at 8pm and it's only just 8:03 as I type, so I am still half-expecting my phone to ring.)
