Last night I slept under a sheet, a summer blanket, a winter blanket, a fleece throw, and a knitted afghan. And my feet were still cold.

I want my landlord to turn on the furnace already!!!

Yeah, it's definitely fall. Socks and slippers time. Thank goodness for thinsulate comforters is all I can say!

It's always socks and slippers time in my life -- I have lousy circulation in my hands and feet, alas. For want of thinsulate anything, I have resorted to wearing my ridiculous, heavy corduroy bathrobe from the moment I arrive home. Normally I reserve that for being laid up with an actual fever! :-(

I already always wear bedsocks, alas, and wearing TWO pairs at once is kind of ridiculous and tends to cause fabric wrinkles that irritate my feet. (I admit I have resorted to that trick once or twice in the past, though... *sigh*)

Yes, he really does!

Part of the problem is that I live in an old-ish house (so the insulation is not the best), and another part is the sheer size of my windows (which are also a bit loose in the frames and lose heat like nobody's business), and a third part is that I have lousy circulation in my feet (hence the constant use of bedsocks), but even so. It's fall, make with the furnace!
