Here are five more fills from the current Three Sentence Ficathon, aka "My god, it's full of semicolons!" This time I actually managed to keep all of them to only three sentences! (Two are also strict-form drabbles, because why not. If I could write rhymed verse worth a damn, I'd try for a hat trick on structural games, but alas, it is not to be.)

7. For
ruanchunxian0: Harry Potter, Harry, naming Albus Severus, written 2/12/15.
Cat Among the Pigeons (125 words) [AO3 version]
"Yes, absolutely, let's do it," said Ginny through a mouthful of the toast and marmalade Harry had made her as a midnight snack.
"--and I realize it's asking a bit much to name our child after Snape," Harry continued, plowing determinedly through an obviously memorized speech, "but he wasn't all horrible just like Dumbledore wasn't all good, and I think it will send a useful message about prejudice to-- wait-- you don't mind?"
Ginny set the remnants of her toast onto the arm of their battered sofa, lifted her aching feet onto the coffee table, and grinned: "Of course I mind a bit, but everyone else will mind so much more -- can't you just picture the headlines -- and when have you ever known me to stand in the way of excitement?"

8. For
alexseanchai: Sailor Moon Classic, Haruka/Michiru, the art of the mundane, written 2/14/15.
Domesticity (100 words exactly) [AO3 version]
"When did you turn me into a responsible adult and how did I not notice this happening?"
Michiru looks up from her calculator and stack of bills, pen held loose between her fingers, and bites back laughter at the utterly perplexed expression on Haruka's face -- not to mention the soap bubbles still coating her hands as she holds a sponge and half-washed plate over the sink.
"Do you mind?" she asks instead, and then shoves the bills across the table to keep them safe from Haruka's dripping hands, buried in her hair and tilting her face back for a kiss.

9. For
avanti_90: LotR, Galadriel takes up the Ring, written 2/15/15.
As the Storm and the Lightning (125 words) [AO3 version]
She ends the war. She ends all the wars: the cities of Men burn with the molten blood of the earth; the halls of the Dwarves collapse and grind their bones to dust; the sylvan exile of the Elves ends, as it began, in kinslaying; and so, too, she comes for the Orcs, the Ents, the halflings and wizards and even the Eldest himself; no people and no hidden fastness escape her gift of peace.
And when she is done, when she casts herself into Mount Doom and takes the Third Age with her, no voice is heard in all the empty, blood-drenched lands from Mordor to the sea: no sound save rain on heaps of sun-bleached bone, and the wind running fingers through new-grown fields of flowers.

10. For
alexseanchai: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Anzu, ballroom dance, written 2/15/15.
That You Won't Let Show (175 words) [AO3 version]
Anzu jumps through all the right hoops: finds a teacher to be the club sponsor, reserves one of the bigger classrooms three afternoons a week, buys a secondhand stereo and makes a bunch of mix CDs for each type of dance, etc. She spends weeks finding people to sign the roster, using all her popularity and persuasive skills -- ballroom dancing is romantic in a way that just grinding in rhythm can't quite match, it's good exercise for people who worry about their health or weight, and there are competitions to feed other people's competitive spirits -- but she doesn't even bother asking her best friends, not when they're so busy with tournaments and jobs and magic and other things much more important than a fledgling high school club.
When she opens the door to welcome her new club to their first practice session, Yugi smiles shyly up at her from the front of the line and says he's sorry he didn't pay more attention so he could help her get everything set up, and Anzu remembers that friendship goes both ways.

11. For
notoriousreign: MCU/Avengers/Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff, 20 questions, written 2/15/15.
Come In, She Said (100 words exactly) [AO3 version]
It's a childish game, a foolish distraction, but that's exactly what they need tonight when they're both cold and bruised, worn thin from too much travel and not enough answers, no closer to finding Steve's friend or Natasha's past than they were when their worlds fell apart.
"Is it something living?" Steve asks as he bandages her twisted ankle, his hands gentle despite their size and the blood beneath his nails.
Natasha holds her chosen thought -- you, naked, in my bed -- behind her eyes and teeth where it will roughen her voice and heat her gaze, and tells him, "Yes."
