I hate when my internet connection vanishes for the day. Stupid router. Stupid Time Warner Cable.

Blargh.

In less aggravating news, I have been slowly piecing my way through the "Guardian" ch. 16 fight scene. It is definitely going to take half the chapter and kick one of the other planned scenes into ch. 17, but I think I have figured out an ending for it at last. Now we just have to see if I can manage the execution.

(Current word count = 1,800-ish)

Sympathies! and fellow-feeling aswell - I'm away from home on a work trip, and my power cord has started emitting (very pretty) blue-green sparks, just where it joins the jack. :)

Yikes! Best of luck with either buying a new cord or doing a temporary patch-job on this one with some electrical tape.

I feel your pain. It doesn't really cross my mind how much I use the internet (even though I'm on my computer a lot) until I can't access the internet in places where I know I should.

Good job in figuring out the ending of the fight scene. The whole scene will be amazing. You can do it! :)

Thanks! And yeah, you never realize quite how much you rely on something until suddenly it's not there and your whole day gets disrupted.
