Hear ye, hear ye!

The 2016 Narnia Fic Exchange and 2016 NFE Madness collections are now open. This was a small year, so it's only twenty-three stories total, but I expect they are as high-quality as always.

Here is the one written for me:

Triptych (5659 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: Chronicles of Narnia - C. S. Lewis
Rating: Mature
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Characters: Lilith, Jadis | The White Witch, Jadis' Sister (Narnia), Aslan
Additional Tags: Charn, Worldbuilding, Rituals, Dark Magic, Religious Imagery & Symbolism, Biblical References, Blood
Summary: Lilith woke to the song of that created a world. Jadis ended another with a word. Lilith waited for Jadis at the end of their long path of willful reason.

I am too brain-fried today to write a proper explanation of exactly how and why this story is so awesome, but trust me, it is fucking awesome and you should go read it. ♥

As for myself, I usually attempt true anonymity (by which I mean I don't reuse the most visible elements of my own previous worldbuilding and character backstories), but due to the persistent brain-fry I've been slogging through all year, I did not have the spoons to play the game. You get no prizes whatsoever for guessing what I wrote, because obvious!Liz was really goddamn obvious this time. *wry*

I sympathize, and I'm sorry you're feeling burned out, but as far as the NFE story goes, I don't think you've got anything to regret.

By the way, I hope that "yes, she was" didn't come off as mean. I just meant that even before I got to some of the identifiable details (names and so forth) I was pretty sure that the story was yours. And it's a good story!

I think mine is pretty easily identifiable to anybody who knows me, but time will tell. I don't think my gift is by anybody I know.

You're absolutely right about tone, of course. You'd think I'd have learned that by now. Sigh.

My track record for guessing isn't great, either. We shall see!
