Have outlined "The Guardian in Spite of Herself" all the way to the end. Go me! Currently it seems to be 17 chapters. I really, really doubt it'll stay that short during the actual writing. (If only because individual scenes always take longer to write than I think they will, and things like "They settle into town XXXX and begin to investigate Eiji" will probably end up being several scenes.)

Note my amazing talent with names -- the town of XXXX in the country of XXXX. I don't want to set this IN Thunder Country, but some place up in that direction seems like it might work.

Amane Eiji continues to turn into a real person. Now he has a family, an extensive business empire, dreams for the future (and I'm not sure all his ideas are bad), etc. Killing him is going to hurt.

Which it's rather obvious they should be capable of, in retrospect, but I hadn't thought of it before.

^_____________^ Thanks for the compliment. Yes, eyes of wickedness can look smexy. I'd suggest using Zelgadis Greywords, Xelloss Metallium and Youko Kurama as references for smexy evil eyes.

No, I will be strong. Chapter 1 will be posted on December 1st. Though for you, I might stay up late on November 30th and post at a couple minutes past midnight. :-)

(I particularly like the scroll, since Naga's ability to summon ravens becomes a rather important plot point!)
