1. Took my beef experiment out of crockpot, packaged it, and put it in the freezer.

2. Withdrew cash to pay for a haircut today and laundry next week.

3. Haircut, yay! (Then I came home and took another shower to wash out the little prickly trimmings that always get everywhere.)

4. Printed my latest paychecks from both the rental office and Not the IRS, since I need to send them to my insurance company as proof that I am poor enough to qualify for my current plan. *sigh* I will probably write an accompanying letter reminding them that Not the IRS is a seasonal job rather than a year-long job, since that will obviously affect their calculations.

5. Ordered notepads from Amazon, since apparently Target and Tops don't stock the kind I use anymore, grrr. I like the small (5" x 8") legal notepads, but only the yellow paper ones. White paper is too intimidating for some reason, but yellow paper is friendly. I use them for my to-do lists, for carrying around to write occasional longhand fiction on, and for pretty much any other note-taking purpose you can think of. (Well. I will write grocery lists on other paper, if and when people give me other paper, because grocery lists don't matter. Once I run out of random gift paper, it's right back to yellow notepads.)

6. Arranged a phone call with Susan on Wednesday evening.

7. Alerted my parents to an anti-Planned Parenthood protest happening near them on Feb. 11, in hopes that they can find a local counterprotest to join.

8. Checked my Not the IRS schedule for next week... and apparently my willingness to wear a receptionist hat as well as a tax preparer hat translated into official action, since not only do I now have a new work code available when I punch in, I am scheduled to work some receptionist shifts next week.

In fact, I am scheduled to work 51 hours next week, adding my two jobs together: 27 at the rental office and 24 at Not the IRS. And that's with me declaring Friday completely off-limits because it's my birthday!

...

I am a little afraid to look at my schedule for the week after that.

9. Continued adding words to my current Cotton Candy Bingo fill/request ficlet for [livejournal.com profile] wistfulmemory. The new approach is working much better, I think, but it's still not anywhere near finished.

I think once that's done, I will set aside my remaining three Cotton Candy Bingo squares (though I have outlined and/or partially written ficlets for two of them) and work on my FandomTrumpsHate auction fic... assuming I will have any time and mental energy left over before March arrives and hopefully brings a bit of sanity before April takes it all away again. *wry*

---------------

And now to bed, because I have to be at the rental office at 10am Saturday morning. (Six days of work this week, UGH UGH UGH, for ~47 hours total. But I need the money...)

It makes me sad when things I like/use a lot stop being carried in stores. I feel like I have a curse since that tends to happen to me a lot.

Yay for working on the fic. However, there's no rush, and if you get inspiration for the other fills or your auction piece, please work on them first. I can wait. :)

Good luck with all of those work hours. I hope you don't get too exhausted with them (though the extra money is definitely a nice reward for the work).
