I haven't planted the new seeds yet (life happened; I'll do it next weekend), BUT... the Lazarus pepper seems like it's going to give blooming one more try. And as you can hopefully see from the picture above, it had TWO more buds, not just one!

I mean, they're probably going to bloom crooked and weird and then fall off immediately after rather than turning into actual fruit, but I admire this plant's sheer cussed persistence. (Also, I am not going away for several days this time, so I will be around to keep misting it twice a day from my handy-dandy spray bottle, which does seem to be helping, along with the slowly returning sunlight.)

Sometimes life is pretty cool. *wry*
